I know I havent posted a poem in here for a long time, infact i didnt think people came here anymore. Here's the newest one.I wrote it yesterday....
Falling
Ebon relief, wrap me in your fantasia. Sahpire dreams, hold me in your womb. Crimson regret, relinquish my empty soul. Pearl reality, release me from your bonds.
I look in the mirror. I cannot tell, whether im living a dream, or burning in hell.
I look to the window. I cannot let go. Im gripping to my lie,and I cannot let go.
I walk to the door-way. I open it wide. As soon as realize,my pain won't subside.
I peer down the hall way. I let the truth show. I remove the knife, and the blood starts to flow.
I fall to floor. Like you fell away. Because like you said. "I really can't stay."
I let go of the world. Like you let go of me. I was blinded by love, and now I can see.
These colors the world, have given us all. But I see it differently, and you've yet to fall.

My Own by: Mike Green written: November, 2005
Raven wings, on severed strings, a puppet for the play Love hath lied, death denied, all hope has gone astray. Days of old, nights come cold, into thy setting sun Seasons change, hope out of range, a tear will slowly run.
The moon shall wane, a solemn bane, my eyes shall softly drop Movements fast, avoid my past, this song is sure to stop. When it starts, to pause thine heart, surely you shall fall More than a man, the animals stand, they have heard my mournful call.
Could it be, the beast she sees, the innocence lost in sin A thing so cold, her loves untold, and what they could've been. Lost inside, he knows she cries, he holds her to his chest When she's gone, by break of dawn, she said, "It's for the best."
The moon's pale place, reflects her face, portrayed through naked soul For change of pace, this animal chased, the one he called... "my own".

Make Believe
Luna wakes, as the setting sun fades, lonely wolves set out on the hunt, this night will be a malevolent one.
The stars break the sky, as dragons fly. Unicorns roam, as graceful as Heaven's throne.
Darkness bides, in shadowy strides. Waiting for its unwilling prey, to lose its hope and go astray.
I watch from the deep-blue sea, but few will never know, What it does to me, and why I'll never go.
To fly like ravens high, Or stay here and live a lie.
To behold the unicorns grace, Or marry a lonely embrace.
To hunt with my proud pack, Or stay here on my back.
You left me in this ocean wagon, A fiery sorrow, like that of dragons.
I watch because I fear the most, to hurt again and drown on the coast.
My ocean wife, will never leave, and with this knife, I'll make you believe.

"The world is torn by conflicting reality constructs propped by fearful souls terrified at the thought of being wrong. They invest the entirety of their lives' energies in supporting a crumbling inconsistant belief system for another reason other than that it is the one into which they were born. The one's that are insane are free of that dance of folly. We see beyond the narrow tunnel and constricting filters to see the world as it truly is."

Is this a quote or a poem that you did. Either way. It sounds cool.

~.Lets Pretend~ Michael Green
Let us pretend, that life's not really as it seems. That sorrows eyes don't really gleem. Tommorrows light will overcome the shadow of today. and if we we all work together there really is a way.
Let us pretend, just this once, That dreams are real and wishes come true. and the future holds a place for Me and you.
Let us pretend that love is real, and not a mangled lie that you've led Me to believe. Let us pretend, that you dont want Me for my appeal, So I Know I Can Breath Again, and not wear my heart on my sleeve.
Lets pretend imagination is power, And I Am no longer Alone In this Dark Tower. That life will soon smile back at Me, Let us pretend, and let our minds be free.
